David Bailis is a Brooklyn-based jazz/funk guitarist and bandleader.

His latest album Running Through My Mind was submitted for a Grammy (Best Instrumental Jazz Album), and the band blends modern jazz, funk, and groove-driven improvisation—along the lines of Scofield, Metheny, and Grant Green.
